Registration for the IGU Kyoto Regional Conference 2013
Online registration for the IGU 2013 starts on October 1, 2012. To register for the IGU Kyoto Regional Conference 2013, it is necessary to first create a personal account. Registering your participation in the Conference is only possible online through the IGU 2013 registration system. After you have carefully read the following instructions, please register using the "REGISTER NOW" button at the bottom of this page.

Registration Fees
Please check the table below to find the registration fees and deadlines for different options:
 • Early Registration: October 1, 2012 to April 10, 2013
 • Standard Registration: April 11, 2013 to July 3, 2013
Speakers for oral/poster presentations in the Commission sessions, general sessions, and joint sessions must complete the registration and payment by April 30, 2013. Please note that the time associated with the KRC in this website is Japanese Standard Time. Instructions for visa application procedures will be sent to overseas participants after April 30, 2013.

*1 Student: Graduate or undergraduate university student
You may be asked to provide a copy of student ID to the IGU 2013 Registration Division by e-mail or fax.

*2 Accompanying Person: Spouses or family members of participants Accompanying participants may not present papers or posters. If you would like to register a family member under 12 years old as an accompanying person, please contact the IGU 2013 Registration Division.

Note: Please apply and make payment through the IGU 2013 online registration system if you would like to participate in the Gala Dinner. Since the number of seats is limited, places are reserved on a first–come first-served basis. You cannot buy a Gala Dinner seat separately for a person accompanying you without registering that person online.
Please note that reservations for the dinner should be made at the time of registration fee payment; consequently, you cannot make a separate reservation for the dinner after you have terminated the registration fee payment process.

• Admission to all oral presentation sessions and the poster exhibits
• Name badge and conference kit containing official program and USB, which includes the abstracts and PDF files of papers dedicated to KRC, among other information.
• Opening Ceremony (August 5) and Closing Ceremony (August 9)
• Cocktail Party (August 5)
• Coffee Breaks

Registration Fee for "Accompanying Person" Includes:
• Admission to poster exhibits (NO admission to any oral presentation session)
• Name Badge
• Opening Ceremony (August 5) and Closing Ceremony (August 9)

Payment Methods
All payments must be made in Japanese yen by either credit card or bank transfer.
No other type of payment will be accepted.
1. Credit card
American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club and JCB are accepted.
2. Bank transfer (telegraphic transfer only)
Payment must be arranged within 10 days after registration. Please note that all transfer charges must be paid by participants. You can confirm the bank account details during the registration process as follows:
・On the last page of the on-line registration process
・In the auto-reply email sent after completion of on-line registration
When arranging a bank transfer, the following information is required on the remittance form:
Overseas:
Application number (issued after completion of on-line registration) and participant's name in the message field
Japanese:
Participant's full name in the sender's field

Confirmation of Registration and Receipt
Registration Confirmation and Receipt will be available to download and print out from the registration page of the Conference website after payment is confirmed.
If you select credit card payment, you can print out a confirmation letter and receipt after you complete the registration.
If you select bank transfer, print-out will be available after the IGU 2013 Registration Division confirms your payment. The IGU 2013 Registration Division will inform you by e-mail when your printed receipt becomes available.
(Please note that it takes about a week for the IGU 2013 Registration Division to confirm your payment.)

**NOTE**
• The confirmation letter can be printed as many times as needed until July 3, 2013.
• The receipt can be printed only once. Please inquire at the IGU 2013 Registration Division if you have any trouble printing the receipt.
• The ID number and password, which is registered at the first login, is required to access the registration page.

**HOW TO PRINT**
1. Access the Log-in Page from "REGISTER NOW" button.
2. Enter Your ID and password.
3. Click "Confirmation" button.
4. Click "Print a confirmation letter" or "Print a receipt" button to print out documents.

Please remember to bring your confirmation letter with you to the IGU 2013 Registration Desk at the venue to pick up congress materials.

Cancellation Policy
Deadlines and fees for cancellation of completed registration:

 Before April 1, 2013: 80% refund of all registration fees
 Before July 1, 2013: 50% refund of all registration fees
No refund will be given for cancellation made on or after July 3, 2013.
